TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Material Handling: Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished feed products; move bags, pallets, or bulk material using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually.
- Assist with Production Tasks: Help with batching, mixing, or packaging as needed; provide support during shutdowns, start-ups, or product changeovers.
- Coordination: Work with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and communicate any delays or issues.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, keep the weighbridge area clean, and ensure equipment is maintained properly.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working within a fast-paced production or warehousing environment.
- Education & Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Time Management: Handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise work to keep operations running smoothly.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely.
- Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Understand how equipment operates and recognise minor mechanical issues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.
