ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a specialist Australian business with more than 20 years of experience in the design, installation and maintenance of stormwater treatment assets and infrastructure. They are known for quality workmanship, a strong safety focus and a supportive team culture.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Labourer is responsible for assisting in the production of precast concrete elements in a factory or yard environment. This includes preparing moulds, placing reinforcement, pouring and finishing concrete, and handling materials and equipment. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

DUTIES

  • Prepare moulds and formwork for casting precast concrete components.
  • Place and tie steel reinforcement and install cast-in items as per drawings.
  • Assist with concrete pouring, vibrating, screeding, and finishing.
  • Strip and clean moulds after casting and prepare them for reuse.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and small plant safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with crane rigging and movement of precast elements (if licensed).
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including housekeeping duties.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Report any hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in civil construction, concrete and production labour or similar
  • Physically fit and confident working outdoors in manual roles
