Machine / Production Operator
 
Currently seeking expressions of interest for various roles in machine and production operation.

Operate steel production machinery including brake presses, power presses, and industrial saws to manufacture components in accordance with job cards, technical drawings, and quality standards.
 
Please Note: Only applicants with full Australian working rights will be considered for this role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate brake presses, power presses, bandsaws, and associated steel processing equipment.
  • Set up machinery in accordance with job cards and production requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor machine performance to maintain efficiency and prevent downtime.
  • Meet daily production targets without compromising safety or quality.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts or overhead cranes (where licensed and authorised).
 
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a steel or heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating brake presses, power presses, or industrial saws.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Forklift licence and/or overhead crane experience (desirable).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
