ABOUT THE ROLE
This Day Shift position (5:45am - 3:15pm) is ideal for experienced manufacturing or automotive industry candidates who enjoy hands-on production work. Reporting to Production Team Leaders, you will assist in the manufacture of metal products by operating machinery, processing raw materials and preparing components for assembly. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read job sheets and drawings, and a commitment to working safely while maintaining quality and production targets.
DUTIES
- Process raw steel and metal materials for manufacturing
- Operate production machinery including CNC machines, presses, benders and guillotines
- Cut, drill, bend, grind and linish metal components
- Read and interpret job cards, drawings and work instructions
- Perform routine quality checks in line with company procedures
- Assist with general production and assembly duties while following safety procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in manufacturing, metal or automotive industries
- Skilled in operating CNC machines, presses, benders, guillotines, or mandrel benders
- Experience with cutting, drilling, bending, grinding and linishing steel or metal
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, job sheets and production instructions
- Mechanically minded, confident with hand and power tools, and physically fit
- Reliable, strong work ethic, with current driver's licence and transport (essential)
