TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is labour-intensive but not heavy lifting intensive, forklifts are used for moving heavy timber packs.
- Operate forklift to safely move stock around the yard, including long loads
- Pack, repack, wrap, label, and quality-check timber products
- Reconfigure large supplier packs into smaller saleable units
- Provide general production-line support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Valid forklift licence, able to operate in confined spaces
- Experience handling timber, steel, or other long loads (Ugly freight)
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Own transport for early shifts
- Reliable with strong attendance
