We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Laboratory Technician to join an established manufacturing operation based in Ormeau. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stability and a long-term position who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their work and has strong attention to detail.

- Work-life balance on 4day work week roster | Monday - Thursday.
- Rotating Shifts - 1week day shift (6am - 4pm) and 2weeks night shift (4pm - 2am)

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and prepare raw material and finished product samples for testing.
- Conduct basic laboratory testing and assist with quality control and production support.
- Record test results accurately and maintain testing documentation and spreadsheets.
- Identify and report results outside specifications to the supervisor.
- Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
- Follow safety and quality procedures, and assist in production and stores when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a laboratory, quality, manufacturing or sampling environment is preferred.
- Basic sampling and testing skills, with confidence using computers and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Reliable, honest and able to work independently.
- Good organisational, problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Seeking a stable, long-term opportunity and willing to learn.
