About the role
You'll assemble and install aluminium and steel trays and accessories for transport vehicles, working to quality standards and time targets in a team-focused workshop. This hands-on role reports to the fitment management team and involves fitting completed units, quality checks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
Duties
- Install trays and accessories to job cards and quality standards
- Complete quality checks and documentation to meet specifications
- Troubleshoot installation, product or vehicle issues
- Maintain clean workshop and support Lean and 6S standards
- Experience in aluminium fabrication or tray building (preferred)
- Ability to read job cards, job sheets and measurements
- Competent use and care of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
